Time to Analyze

Not much cooking going on here lately, I'm still trying to get through the massive amounts of red lentil cauliflower curry and the "it's only tuesday, what the f$@k pie". And tomorrow I am going on a journey down to the Texas coast (galveston) for a 2 day work thing and am quite worried that I'll be living on plain pasta and steamed broccoli. We'll see. But to mix things up a bit, inspired by Traci Anne over at .:*hello darling*:. I have been following my google analytics stats and here are some keywords that led people to my little blog (my comments are in parentheses).

warm gooey goodness vegan cookies recipe (you've come to the right place!)
republicans love meat (damn straight, in my experience)
vegan noodles (i.e. not egg noodles or fresh pasta made with egg, also my nickname)
%s (not sure what this is)
is there bat droppings in makeup (ewwww! and yes)
angle food cake + whole wheat + recipe + vegan (oh I dream of this quite frequently)
cookies made with couscous (strange combo, but it could work, MSV used lentils!)
houston with animal sex (okay this is scary)
litle girls blodies pics (scarier)
raw chocolate in north conway (this is random)
super size me recipes (hopefully not here)
texas vegans (yes! we exist!)
torres del paine white bread recipe (not exactly two things I would put together...)
vegan but eat fish (ummm, that's NOT a vegan)
vegan conspiracy (damn, they found me)
veganism and gas (hey, it happens)

Okay, now I could say that I will take pictures with my phone and send them, but I say that whenever I leave town and never do it. We'll see. But this weekend I do promise a post of my cake decorating class that finished up on Saturday. Time to go eat some more "man that was a lame post pie"....

I just set up a Google Analytics account because your search results are hilarious!!

It's amazing what people search for in their spare time...

LOL and I thought MY search results were scary! Thanks to a gingerbread men post, I get quite a few people looking for "naked handsome men". Sadly for them, I don't think they get what they're looking for when they visit my blog!

I love how your pie name keeps changing. But my favorite is "it's only tuesday, what the f$@k pie", for sure.

the google analytics search terms for your blog are hilarious!!

have a super fun trip! san antonio has a good vegetarian, mostly vegan restaurant called green vegetarian cuisine if you pass through on your way to galveston - hopefully you won't have to live off of rabbit food during your trip!

Funny! I love looking at my analytics. I never get anything as interesting as yours, however!

Don't rule out the possibility of a vegan republican! :)

ha ha- gotta hand it to Google analytics. Now get back to work on your conspiracy (shhhhh!)

Have a good trip! I never blog as much as I say I will when I travel either, too hectic!

Too amusing. Trolling blogs (and their analytics) is as fine a way to kill 10 minutes as anything!

Cheers.

It was quite scary, because while I may not weigh a ton, my bike certainly is heavy! So the fact that the wind could lift it showed how powerful the wind was!

By the way, I'm super-excited to see your cake-decorating post :o).

Haha, random search terms really are the best. Sometimes I plunk in bizarre searches just because I'm bored, so I can only imagine what the people looking at those terms are thinking!

I love analytics. I was just thinking earlier that it's one of the really bizzare things that makes me happy.

I haven't gotten anything too crazy yet... so far only "vegan teen blogspot blog vegan" has caught my attention. Everything else has been pretty basic stuff.

I absolutely love your "damn they found me." That is simply too awesome! We'll miss you when you're traveling :)

Those searches are always fun to see. I hope you get to eat well in Galveston! It can be done, but probably not at a hotel....

p.s. how do I add the google analytics to my blog? I tried to do it but it wouldn't work :0(

HA! I love this. I should post some of mine soon.

This post cracked me up! We should start a Google Analytics meme about the key words people use to get to our blogs. I'll bet other people have some funny ones, too... Off to check mine! :)
