I recently picked up knitting as a new hobby. All I've been knitting so far are dishcloths for xmas gifts, and I figured it would be fun to knit one for myself honoring this vegan month of food. Just in case anyone wants one for themselves, I've included the pattern as well. This dishcloth is perfect for cleaning up all the messes I make in the kitchen!

I love it. I think you should sell them on Etsy and you can join our Vegan Etsy group! I can't believe you posted the whole pattern! Thank you.
OMG!! Okay I just picked up knitting too but all I've started is a scarf... that looks like a lumpy dishcloth with holes!! I love it!! I'll have to ask my knitting guru to help me make that! You should totally sell those on ETSY!
Haha, I love that! I liked knitting; I got into it while ago but gave it up because my hands get so intolerably sweaty when I do detail work.
Great work!
That's great that you got into knitting! Your dishcloth is so freakin' rad! Thank you for the pattern. I'll be making these for the vegans in my life. :o)

You are being crafty. I have not tried to knit in years. I can crochet and sew, but kniting I have the worst tension and everything gets so tiny as I go along. I love your dishcloth!!! jealous me!
You genius! What a fun pattern to knit. I have orange yarn too, so maybe this will be my next project!!!! You should check out this really simple and pretty pattern for a face cloth (or dishcloth too):

I love this pattern and have made about a dozen of these!
You started recently and you can already do stuff like that?? I'm jealous! I've been knitting for years and all I can make are basic scarves. I don't even know how to read patterns!!
oh man awesome! i am working on knitting something with some orange cotton yarn that is exactly the same color. definitely going to make some dish clothes with scraps.
You surely are one inspiring, bad-ass, crafty MoFo!! :0)
That's just adorable. What a great idea for a Christmas gift! :)
i've been wanting to learn to knit recently... is it difficult? is there something i can read that can tell me how to start? because i know nothing about it.
How fun!
Awesome! Thanks so much for the pattern. I want to knit it tonight! You're so creative. Seriously. Mad knitty props to you.
I'm so impressed by creative people like you - you really can be creative at anything you want. I have never knitted and I think I've only ever watched one person knit. So yes, very impressive.
Your talents are endless!
So cute! I love the orange color too. :)
Crafty, crafty! I love this...I wish I had the patience to learn to knit. I've tried but I get frustrated after a few minutes of sitting still...
This is so cool, Amanda! Now if only I understood what that pattern meant! I have needles and yarn, now I need to learn to knit!
Hehe, that's so sweet.
WOW! I am impressed. Your dishrag looks FANTASTIC! MOM
That is so awesome!
AWESOME!!!! :)
Oh my, SO cute!

Hooray for knit dishcloths! So cool...

Oh my gosh! That's amazing! I wish I was that kind of crafty!
I saw this on your sidebar and first thought "no she didn't" but she did! I love it! I'm thinking I might make this into a patch on a knitted blanket (if I ever get my butt knitting again). Thanks for the pattern.
So adorable! I wish I knew how to knit just so I could make this!

I concur, you should sell those. And open a bakery and sell the cupcakes too!!
This is awesome. Let's hear it for vegan knitters! :)
I just made this in purple, and the pattern worked great! Except for the "Row 8 and all wrong side rows through 48: K4, P34, K4" - should be P35 but I just purled until there were 4 left so no biggie.
Thanks so much for posting this! It was the perfect project - relaxing and didn't take too long at all!
So glad you made it eliser1028!! And thanks for catching my mistake... I fixed it :-)
