Whenever I tell people that I'm from Texas, they are usually amazed because I don't have an accent. But I am always quick to point out that I do use the word "y'all"... a lot. I even use "all y'all" with an amazing frequency. So I couldn't resist these Halloween napkins.... the mummy cupcake is saying:
I also made some spiderweb cupcakes with chocolate ganache. Both were for a SOP vegan potluck picnic yesterday which, by the way, was a perfect Texas fall day.

I love that you say y'all! So do I and I'm not from the South. I just love that it's so gender neutral. Cupcakes, as always, look incredible. As far as MoFo, I'm exhausted!

I just can't bring myself to say "ya'll". It's "you guys" for me! Sergio forgot to grab a cupcake! I told him they were REALLY good and he missed out. That mural on Montrose is past Inversion going towards Allen Parkway, but it's on the other side of the street.
I have yet to get to Texas but somehow find myself saying y'all occationally anyway. Usually at work when lots of people come in at once and I just address them all "How y'all doing today?"

You are such an awesome decorator! And I say ya'll all the time too. I was raised in Arkansas (and moved to Memphis after college), but I got rid of my accent pretty early on...I used to be ashamed of my Southern roots.
But in college, I took some Delta folklore classes and really began to appreciate my culture....so I picked ya'll back up and say it all the time!
